Eligibility Criteria & Qualification (As on 21/03/2026)
Candidates must possess any ONE of the following core educational qualifications:
- Minimum one-year Multi-Purpose Health Worker basic certificate/diploma course from a government-recognized institution. OR
- Minimum one-year Sanitary Inspectors Diploma Course from a government-recognized institution. OR
- Minimum one-year certificate course of Health Sanitary Inspectors from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or a government-recognized institute. OR
- Diploma of Sanitary Inspector or Health Sanitary Inspector obtained from a recognized University in India.
Additional Requirements:
- Must possess basic knowledge of Computer Applications as prescribed by the state government.
- Must possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
⏳ Age Limit (As on 21/03/2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 33 Years
- Age Relaxation: Reserved category male candidates get a relaxation of 5 years (Maximum up to 38 years). Appropriate relaxations are also applicable for PwD and Ex-Servicemen as per Gujarat Government rules.
💰 Pay Scale
- Candidates selected for the post will be appointed on a fixed monthly salary of ₹ 26,000/- for an initial probationary period of five years.
- Upon satisfactory completion of the five-year period, the services will be regularized in the 7th Pay Commission Matrix Level-2 (₹ 19,900 – ₹ 63,200).

The recruitment involves a single-stage Objective Type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) exam, which may be conducted via CBRT (Computer Based Response Test) or OMR method. The paper is divided into two parts and has a composite time of 3 hours.
